Most hydraulic cylinders do one or two of these things. This one does all four — and does them at up to 100 tons.
The double-acting circuit drives the cylinder in both extension and retraction under full hydraulic power, giving you precise control over both directions of movement. The mechanical lock nut holds the load in position after lifting, without relying on hydraulic pressure to maintain that position. For jobs that require lifting to an exact height and keeping it there — bridge jacking, structural installation, equipment alignment, heavy machinery maintenance — this combination of hydraulic control and mechanical retention is what separates a tool that can do the job from one that can't.
50 Ton — The most portable option in the range. Double-acting circuit, 200mm stroke, double-loop fast connector. For heavy industrial lifting, where full bidirectional hydraulic control is the priority.
66 Ton — Lock nut structure for mechanical load holding after lifting. Shockproof pressure gauge built in. NPT 3/8" male coupler with dust cap. Wooden case packaging for transport and storage protection. The first step up into serious long-duration load support.
100 Ton — Maximum output in the range. Rated capacity 100T, stroke 200mm, closed height 350mm. Inner diameter 130mm, outer diameter 179mm, weight 37kg. Thread size M120×2.0. Built-in stop ring prevents piston overextension. Composite bearing system minimises metal-to-metal contact. High-strength return spring for rapid retraction. For projects where the load is large, the duration is long, and failure is not an option.
The lock nut is the feature that changes what this cylinder can be used for.
A standard hydraulic cylinder holds position by maintaining pump pressure. The moment pump pressure drops — through a slow leak, a valve issue, or simply overnight — the load drops with it. The mechanical lock nut on the 66T and 100T models eliminates this dependency entirely. After lifting to the target position, thread the lock nut down to the contact surface. The load is now mechanically supported. Hydraulic pressure can be released completely. The load stays exactly where you put it, for as long as you need it there.
For bridge bearing replacement, structural jacking during construction, and any application where a load must be held safely for extended periods, this is not a convenience feature. It is a requirement.
Double-acting means both directions are under control.
Single-acting cylinders extend under hydraulic power and retract by spring or gravity. That's fine for simple lifting. But when you need to pull a component back into position, apply controlled downward force, or manage a load that needs to move in both directions with precision, single-acting is the wrong tool.
The double-circuit hydraulic system drives extension and retraction with equal hydraulic authority. You control both directions with the pump — precisely, repeatedly, at full rated force in either direction.

The dust ring on all models keeps contamination out of the cylinder bore during operation — particularly important on job sites where the cylinder is near cutting, grinding, or concrete work. The double-loop fast connector with dust cover maintains a clean, secure hydraulic connection. The smooth, precision-machined surface resists wear and corrosion through extended service life. The steel body on the 100T model is reinforced to handle the structural loads that come with long-duration heavy lifting without deformation.
Damping performance that keeps the lift stable.
The superior damping system absorbs vibration and shock loads during operation, keeping the cylinder extension smooth and controlled even when the load isn't perfectly centred or when external forces — machinery vibration, wind, adjacent equipment — are acting on the structure being lifted. Stable damping is what the difference between a controlled lift and an unpredictable one feels like in practice.

For 50T applications with moderate cycle frequency, a double-circuit manual pump is workable. For 66T and 100T, or any sustained high-cycle operation, a double-circuit electric hydraulic pump is the correct choice. The cylinder requires a double-circuit pump to utilise the bidirectional capability — a single-circuit pump will only drive extension. Ensure the selected pump's rated output pressure matches the cylinder's working pressure before connecting.
Always operate on a firm, stable, level surface. Never use on soil, sand, or deformable ground under load.
