READ MOREThe puller that works the way your job actually works.
Bearings don't always fail in convenient positions. Gears don't always sit where a standard puller can reach them. The YLX series hydraulic gear puller was designed with that reality in mind — horizontal or vertical use, two-jaw or three-jaw configuration, 5 tons to 30 tons of pulling force, all from the same tool.
No site restrictions. No reconfiguration delays. Just position, connect, and pull.
2-jaw or 3-jaw. Switch between them without tools.
The claw assembly is fully interchangeable between two-jaw and three-jaw configurations without any additional parts or assembly steps. Three-jaw for symmetrical components like bearings, pulleys, and gears, where even force distribution matters. Two-jaw for flanges, wheels, and components where access from three sides isn't possible. The same puller handles both — you change the configuration in under a minute.
Horizontal or vertical. Your call every time.
Most pullers dictate how you approach the job. This one doesn't. The YLX series operates in both horizontal and vertical orientations with equal effectiveness, so you work around the component's actual position instead of working around the tool's limitations. Tight spaces, awkward angles, overhead components — the puller adapts.
Choose the tonnage your stuck component actually needs.
5 Ton — For smaller bearings, light gears, and precision components where controlled low-force extraction prevents damage to surrounding parts.
10 Ton — The most versatile option. Handles the majority of industrial bearing and gear removal tasks without overbuilding the setup.
20 Ton — For medium-heavy components that have been press-fit, corroded, or seized in place. Enough force to move what won't budge without resorting to heat or impact.
30 Ton — Maximum pulling force in the range. For heavy industrial gears, large flywheels, and seriously seized components, anything less simply won't work.

The pump body is forged from raw material. One piece. No joints.
The pump body is integrally formed through forging from solid raw material — not assembled from multiple components, not welded together. There are no internal joints to crack under pressure, no seams to leak along, no weak points where repeated high-force cycles can cause fatigue failure. The structural integrity of the pump body is uniform throughout. That's what integral forging delivers that fabricated bodies cannot.
The thimble is thickened. The plunger is thickened. Both matter.
Wear on the thimble and plunger is where most pullers start to fail after heavy use. The YLX series addresses this with reinforced thimble geometry and a thickened plunger design, increasing the contact area and wall thickness at the points that take the most stress during extraction. The result is measurably longer service life compared to standard-wall designs — particularly in high-cycle applications where the puller is used repeatedly throughout a working day.
The claws are forged alloy steel. They don't bend.
The claw hooks and claw frame are forged from high-strength alloy steel. Forging — not casting, not machining from bar stock — aligns the grain structure of the steel along the direction of loading, producing a claw that is significantly stronger and more resistant to deformation under load than either alternative. When you're pulling a seized 20-ton gear, a claw that bends is a claw that fails. These don't.
The oil return switch is new. It works better.
The updated oil return switch design on the YLX series provides cleaner, more controlled pressure release compared to earlier designs. Turn to release — the oil returns smoothly, the plunger retracts without sudden movement, and the component being extracted comes off in a controlled manner rather than dropping when pressure releases. For precision components where the extraction process matters as much as the result, controlled oil return is not a minor detail.
The handle grip is built for extended use.
The thickened rubber sleeve on the handle provides both grip security and vibration damping during pumping. When a 20 or 30-ton extraction requires sustained pumping effort, the handle quality directly affects operator fatigue. The textured rubber surface maintains grip with oily or wet hands — the conditions that exist on real job sites, not just in product photography.
